The PPN is a countrywide initiative to build a network of community, social inclusion and environmental groups who work within a local authority area. The focus of the PPN is to empower and assist groups to participate in local decision making. The Dublin City PPN operates in the Dublin City Council area.
We designed a bespoke, responsive website and developed it in WordPress with HTML 5 and Bootstrap. Our brief was to create an attractive site that encourages citizens to engage with the PPN and become involved. On the Admin end, it had to be easy to maintain, update and expand.

In 2021, we expanded the website with new features, including news sliders, events calendar, linkage and thematic groups, resources, and a redeveloped members directory.
In 2024, we launched a new, integrated “In Dublin” portal, including, community supports, member facilities, Dublin Stories, members’ spotlight. It also features sliders and image galleries as well as interactive maps of organisations for each postal district.
We are very happy with the technical support, the fact that the site is safe, looks fantastic and is up to date with the operational functions. But more than that, we are very happy with the sort of content partnerships we have with Neo-Archaic, in particular when there are new streams of work such as the Members Spotlight, Members Facilities and Members Facilities map, which they came to the Plenary to explain to the PPN members, in person.
More recently, having the skills and expertise of Neo-Archaic at hand for the elections work, was an exceptional help, especially because we only have two members of staff as administrators of the PPN. We simply couldn’t have managed the elections without their help.
What always impresses me, is the critical reflection and level of interest Neo-Archaic show to the work. They are genuinely interested in helping the sector, do work well, and to this they bring enthusiasm, humour and many suggestions. The technical and operational side of things are very well maintained, and this is balanced with an interest in increasing the quality of the work, through excellent IT systems. I see Neo-Archaic, at this stage, as part of the PPN team.
Thank you Neo-Archaic for the excellent job you have done on our website. Karina and Martin are friendly, knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to work with them. I was very impressed with their quality of work, customer care and attention to detail. They were professional to deal with and designed a user friendly website. I would highly recommend Neo Archaic to any business or individual.
