Fingal Public Participation Network (PPN) is a network of community, voluntary, social inclusion and environmental organisations, working to build a better county for the community of Fingal.
Our task was to create an engaging website where members of the Fingal community could easily find resources, stay informed, and become involved in community events and group meetings.
We designed a bespoke, responsive website and developed it in WordPress, leveraging HTML 5, JavaScript, and Bootstrap.
Karina and Neo-Archaic were a pleasure to deal with throughout the redevelopment of the Fingal Public Participation Network website and the launch of a new Fingal Community Directory. Karina and her team showed the upmost professionalism and flexibility in dealing with us throughout the lifetime of the project and beyond. No challenge was too much with innovative solutions delivered across a complex range of data-sets and feature requirements. Karina engaged meaningfully in a community design led approach and I would not hesitate in recommending her and Neo Archaic for future work.
During the Covid-19 lockdown, we worked with Jenny Foley of Fingal PPN to feature a collection of news and information about a wide range of Covid-19 related subjects, a #CoronavirusSolidarity diary of community “good news” stories, and an interactive map of Covid-19 Fingal Coordinated Response. Afterwards, she sent us this email:
I have really enjoyed keeping the Fingal PPN website up-to-date. It is such an easy site to navigate and update. Your help and support throughout my time in the PPN was invaluable, and I think you will agree that during Covid-19 it was fantastic to know we were doing something so helpful to the community. Fingal PPN got a very positive response to all of our work throughout Covid-19, but special mention was given on numerous occasions to the website, particularly the easy to read/navigate COVID-19 sections. Everyone loves the #CoronavirusSolidarity diary and I have given a copy of this to the Fingal Archive section for the history books!
In 2021, we added a new policy hub with a Rest-API filtering system.
