The Irish Council for Social Housing (ICSH) was established in 1982 and is the national social housing federation of nonprofit voluntary and other national housing associations. The ICSH maintains strong links with other voluntary and statutory bodies who have an interest in social housing.
Our objective was to design and develop a new website to
- Facilitate communication between the ICSH, its members, stakeholders, and the public
- Highlight the cornerstone role of its work in the provision of affordable housing
- Reflect the increasing importance of housing associations in this field
- Serve as a hub for information, resources, and support
We designed a bespoke, responsive website with an accessible, user-friendly interface, and developed it in WordPress, leveraging HTML 5, JavaScript, and Bootstrap. The old Drupal website’s content and membership were migrated, and a redirection policy implemented. A searchable, filterable members’ directory was developed with live Salesforce API data.
We in the ICSH, recently appointed (following a competitive tendering process) Neo Archaic to develop a new website for our national federation, representing over 270 Housing Associations.
Our experience of working with Karina and Martin from the beginning to the end of the process was excellent.
They understood and listened to the brief they responded and improved it. As a federation our communications are often complex and we have many audiences. Neo Archaic have built a intuitive, fresh and beautifully designed website. The response to the site has been very positive from our smaller more rural housing associations to larger associations, all agree on the accessibility and attractiveness of the site.
Neo Archaic provided excellent training and manuals for our staff who work on the site following the site development. The contract to develop the site was delivered on time in budget and we in the ICSH are delighted to recommend Neo Archaic.
