Leitrim PPN Home Page

A Public Participation Network (PPN) is a network that allows local authorities to connect with community groups around the country and they are the ‘go to’ for all local authorities who wish to benefit from community and voluntary expertise in their area. Leitrim Public Participation Network (PPN) is the network for the county of Leitrim and has more than 400 members and includes community-based groups, organisations, associations, clubs, societies and charities. In addition of being the link between local communities and the local government, they also work to keep their members informed about upcoming plans and meetings, training, funding sources, and other information sources that might be useful for their members.

Our task was to create an engaging and easy to manage website where Leitrim PPN Members and the general public could quickly find resources, stay informed, and become involved in community events and Linkage Group meetings. At the same time the goal was to allow the owners to maintain the site without our help and integrate it in their existing workflow. To that we added a feature that allows them to assign documents, people, and resources to the various groups dynamically. We also worked with them to integrate their existing newsletter into the site, reducing the work to a few, simple steps.

The website’s bespoke design is responsive across mobile and desktop devices. It was developed in WordPress, JavaScript, and the latest Bootstrap 5 framework. The bespoke theme is based on the Roots/Sage starter theme, pre-processed with Webpack, SCSS, and Blade templates.

Leitrim PPN engaged with Neo-Archaic to develop a new website, we found Neo-Archaic extremely knowledgeable on PPN’s, easy to work with, flexible and they delivered the finished product on time.

We would highly recommend Martin & Karina as an excellent team.
